Last Saturday, we celebrate Mother's Day. Our nearby children and grandchildren came over to the house and Papa cooked up some steaks and grub for everyone. Afterwards, we open a few gifts for Cheryl, Jenny, and Amanda.
After a few gifts it was off to Liberty Land a great little amusement park nearby where we could play miniature golf, water bumper cars, and go cart racing. Poor little Boston quickly disappointed as he found out he was quite tall enough to fly the planes or ride along. The Merry-Go-Round just didn't have the thrill for him. He settled down to concentrating on his golf game and all were filled with fun and laughter.
Rachel of course was in our thoughts also and hopefully she had a wonderful Mother's Day too. We did get to talk to her and wish her a Happy Mother's Day on the phone Sunday.
