Our final day on the island of Oahu. We must make the most of the it and what better way than to spend the morning shopping for souvenirs at the infamous Hawaii swap meet at Aloha Stadium. Luckily it was hot and humid today, probably was an advantage to mitigating the impact to the bank account. Everyone wandered to their hearts content and purchased all of the trinkets, gadgets, clothes and Hawaiian memorabilia that they could possibly pack home.
Laurie celebrate her twenty first birthday plus today. So after spending a few hours roaming the beach chasing crabs and turtles. We said goodbye to our friends at the resort, Mr. Hammer Head and Mr Moray.
Enjoyed a light meal at Chili's and wished Laurie Happy Birthday. Returned the rental car and began our departure home.
It has been a wonderful vacation and we will miss the Hawaiian scenery but all good things must come to an end and we must leave our fantasy land and return to reality.
Regardless, we will always cherish the time spent together in Hawaii.
Aloha Hawaii and Mahalo!
