We arrived home from our all night flight this morning around 9:00 AM, tired and grateful for the never ending flight that finally ended.
Later this afternoon, after we had unpacked, Jenny, Philip, Adyson and Lexi came by to hear about our adventures in Hawaii. Now like all good parents and grandparents we had trinkets and toys to share with all.
Adyson and Lexi were fascinated with our Hula dancing doll and after they had watched the doll for awhile we then presented them their own grass skirts, and leis.
Grammy gave a quick lesson to Adyson on how the Tahiti dancers shake their hips and she took careful notes. She was starting to get the hang of it but still need some more instructions so we watched the DVD of the Polynesian Culture Center Rainbows of Paradise; which highlighted the Canoe Parade and all of the dancers.
Adyson intently observed the dancers and within minutes she was shaking her hips as well as the Tahiti dancers. Enjoy the show she is going to be one heck of a dancer!
But let's not forget about Lexi. She can hold her own now and is nothing but a joy to be around as you can see.
Yup, you're right on target with that thought. I am a proud Grandpa and proud of my granddaughters.
