This past week has been Strawberry Days and with tradition that means it's rodeo time. The Strawberry Day Rodeo is a well recognized rodeo in the country and yet has the small town atmosphere that everyone loves.
So while celebrating Father's Day we all decided to go to the rodeo on Wednesday evening. Taylor & Amanda, Amanda's family, and Philip & Jenny all gathered for the evening. Our young aspiring cowboys & cowgirls were focused on the events of the evening. They were as entertaining to watch as the rodeo itself
Now, Rachel & Amanda, you are not the only cowgirls that have participated in a rodeo. It was determined at the very suggestion that Adyson, Allison and Lexi would participate in the famous cash cow chase. Here is a picture of the event. Now where are they? Hm... I'm sure there in the pic somewhere but have no idea where.

This poor little doggy has been stripped of any cash he might have had |
There's Lexi climbing the fence to exit the arena. Yippee Lexi! |

Well the evening was a lot of fun. The kids had a great time and even got to participate. If you thought the Cash Cow was a wild event, I think next year they are training for the Mutton Busting Event & I'm sure they will win the Wild Cow Milking contest. Hmm... okay I'll settle for some more barrel racers.

Funny story.... We went to the rodeo last night. During the event of the cash cow, the Chick-fil-A "cow" happened to be in the arena at the same time. All 200+ kids thought they were suppose to chase that cow instead of the real ones. Lets just say the poor chick-fil-A cow was just about mauled to death. Once they were able to direct all the kids in the right direction the cow had to have his head re-adjusted, shirt put back on and helped off the ground. TOO funny. Poor cow. Love Strawberry Days!
