2015 Wrap UP

Let' s try and catch up with everything that has happened since June 2015.  Of course the big highlight of 2015 was our trip to France and celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary.

 In addition, 2015, I visited Baltimore Maryland for FMI Peer Group, also attended the AASHTO conference in Little Rock and represented ARTBA in our position of the CMGC Procurement Process.

 After Little Rock, Cheryl and I visited New Hampshire representing ARTBA at the Joint AASHTO/AGC/ARTBA Conference.  Here we discussed "white papers" that indicated our position on various topics.  Of course, ARTBA/s topic was a difficult one and no position was achieved - on Pre qualification of Bidders that could affect the overall outcome of a bid.






Another great and fun trip, was in September our annual visit to Washington, D.C. with the AGC.  This year we invited my daughter Jenny to come with us, since she had never been to Washington.  Cheryl and her would go to the various sites during the day and then at night we would take the night tour of monuments or even participate in the AGC Events.  This year in Washington D.C. turned out to be a successful trip, as Rich Thorn and myself were able to meet with all of the Utah Delegation and

AGC Social Hour Event

Other events this year included, Rachel's visit to Utah with the family.  Always good to have her bring the boys and spend some time.  We don't get to see them enough and they are all growing up so quickly.


 The Utah National Parks Council, awarded me with the "Outstanding Eagle Scout in the Community Award in October.

W. W. Clyde & Co. Hawaii Operations 2015

We expanded W. W. Clyde & Co. operations to Hawaii and began placing concrete for commercial building projects partnering up with Layton Construction.

New Corporate Office Slab

Now with all of this going on - I decided to finally get serious about relocating our corporate office and broke ground in Orem for a new W. W. Clyde & Co. corporate office.
