Cheryl and I this last weekend decided that it has been way to long since we ventured out on a little adventure /safari. So since the sun was shining on Saturday and the temperature was climbing upward a drastic change for the last 45 days we set off for an afternoon in the sun.
Now yes, I know it is still February and that there is still snow on the ground. But if all of those crazy skiers can hit the slopes in this type of weather why can't i put the waders on and venture into the beautiful mountain streams for a little fly fishing. Okay, this was my first go at fishing in the dead of winter. Hmm. kinda of enjoyed it and would do it again.
Of course, Cheryl was a bit annoyed as she did not hear me say I was throwing my fishing rod into the car and if so compelled would stop and fish. Luckily, I brought our new camera and gave her the opprotunity of experimenting with the zoom. She captured my "acting well the part" with the lens. Man do I look like a pro or what? Oh am I suppose to catch fish...well maybe another day.

I could become addicted to an adventure like this every weekend. Just got to get Cheryl to bring a rod for herself or a book to read.
